Horseride at W. T. Grant Dimestore 1952
A little boy gets a free ride on a mechanical horse outside a W. T. Grant dimestore in Dayton. The store was celebrating it's 46th Anniversary. From the costumes in the windows this photograph was probably taken in October. The woman in the cowboy hat is Jean Hastings. The boy on the pony is her nephew Bobby Hastings. The woman in the scarf is sister-in-law Marylyn Hastings, the young boy's mother. Photograph courtesy of Tom Eastridge.
